History :

The farm has a colorful history. Its farmhouse served as a dance hall and rumor has it that during the late1920's prohibition, moonshine was made at the farm. That might account for the street’s original name – Pint Road. In the 1930's the original farmhouse burned and the Corey family bought the then 200-acre property, rebuilt the farmhouse and ran the farm as a dairy farm. They bought a cider mill and converted it into the barn. They raised dairy cows -- and 11 children --and sold milk, potatoes, popcorn, maple syrup and lumber, which they sold out of a sawmill they built. The log cabin was built in the 1970's.
